“We visited the Haybarn for my mum’s birthday. Liz was a brilliant host, supplying us with breakfast, bread, milk and other goodies. There are lots of great local walks and a good pub located a two minute walk from the barn. The barn was beautifully furnished and very clean, we really could not have hoped for a more idyllic setting. We will definitely be back.”

“We spent a delightful weekend in the Haybarn over the August Bank Holiday. The location is beautiful and very peaceful with lovely views over the village church to the woods beyond. The Hayburn has been very stylishly renovated and is really cosy and comfortable with everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed the spacious ensuite bathroom with its huge walk-in shower. Our sons enjoyed the walk straight from the door, through the fields to a lovely pub for lunch, and we also explored nearby Wakerley Woods which are beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.”

We loved the fresh breakfast items provided for us and the Nespresso machine was a boon for coffee lovers!! Great location for exploring the surrounding countryside and towns. We came to sail at Rutland Water so the location was perfect for us. If only we lived further away we would definitely come back to you for a luxury weekend away.
